Poems By TAC

Greetings friend.
Come in and have a seat within the clearing.
Come on in and tell us of your journeys of old and new.
We all here are family that have large hearts and open minds.
We look like we act like wolves, but there is more than acting.
Let me, if you will, open your eyes to a new world of ours.
To be able to see with that of the eyes of the wolf.
Tis time for the poet to speak.

That ugly wall.
The awful wall that seperates me
From the things that linger on the other side.
Things that would frighten the living dead.
It frightens me just to think about it.
When I get help from the outside, a thing dies.
I know this from the wails, screams,
and horrible moans
Coming from that wall.
I'd wish that the wall would fall
And the burdens would never burden me again.
Maybe then my life would be easier.

Love is a very painfull and confusing thing
it tears at the hearts of some
and others it leads to endless sorrow
they say that love can bring happiness and joy
but what I have seen
what I have felt
what I have endured I cannot find such things
tell me where the joy is
tell me where the happiness has went
I have seen much through these eyes
do you see the pain that lies within
my only hope is these eyes shall find what
they need to rest in peace.

As I look into the sky toward the stars
I wonder about the things within my mind
do the stars hold our future within their light
do the ones that do not shine so brightly show a future
of great pain and sorrow
or do they read the souls of the people on earth showing
it to all with their light
I am uncertain what the stars behold
but I know one thing
never let the light inside fade away to nothing...

Look into her eyes
do you see the child that lies within
a child who rarely shows herself on the outside
do you see that she lives behind the dark and lonely wall
scared to speak of her feelings
scared to speak of her opinions
scared to trust again
terrified of the past pains and sorrows
she reaches a hand toward you
but do you see it
can you sense it there
can you give her the comfort she seeks
and ease her soul
or will you only add to her suffering
making her hide even more.

As I look into your eyes
I see past all and look into your very soul
I can see the pains and loves
I can see the joys and sorrows
I let my soul join yours
to grow strong from
to learn from
to share with
to survive the past pains that have been buried for so long
together we shall overcome
together our souls shall finally run free.

The night comes upon us all
blanketing us in her wamrth
don't let the night cover your heart
making it suffer pain and sorrow
don't let the flame within be put out
let it burn strong and wild
let the wind feed your soul...

Look around you my friend
tell me of what you see
do you only see that of mortal flesh
or do you see within their souls and hearts
some of these souls run free like the wind
while others hide behind walls like I have over the years
hiding in fear from the creatures that lie on the other side of this wall
very lonely and dark it is there
and over the years it becomes your friend
you become one with that of the pain
a pain of deep sorrow that you wish to bury forever
you learn to live with this pain
to overcome it
and finally break down the wall.

The wind shall carry my song across the land.
The earth shall echo it back to touch my heart.
The sky shall hold it's splender in a glory of light.
The forest shall raise it's voices in firery spirit songs as my brothers and sisters rejoice.

Time has come for the tender hearts to bleed.
Time to let the souls scream of thier sorrow.
Tis time for the darkness within be shown some light.
To speak of age old pasts.
To listen with that of different ears.
To feel the pain that is not of the skin.
Tis time to speak of that of the fears that lie within.
Of the secrets of your heart be unlocked.
Come friend.
Tell us what lies on your mind.
What aches your heart and what gives you joy and let your voice join that of the packs.

Here, as I stand upon this hill
The wind running through my hair
the feel of the bitter cold upon my skin
I stop and know I must be what I am within
to close my eyes and see my world
to breath my breath of that of a first born
rising above to soar with soul and heart
becoming one of a spirit so long forgotten
listen can you hear the cry upon the winds
a call to the world that it has come again
can you feel your blood start to turn
it is there waiting for my return
alas it stays hidden from view
Deeply left in slumber till the day becomes anew
Once again I open my eyes upon the night skies
as I leave my hill with a soft sigh

You say you love me
but you hide behind a mask.
You say you have nothing to hide from me
then you remain silent when I ask.
You say you wish to be with me
then you leave so fast.
How can you say you love me
when you hide behind a mask.

Upon the wheels of time
this fragile heart of mine
has felt the hurt of years
from the sharpknife of life and fears

Has a daughter he deals
for she gathers the bills
his poems are always a thrill
the pictures he takes are ideal
for brightening the way you feel
working hard in a plastic mill
is where you find the guy named Phil

Looking at the most beautiful thing
Memories of our life come to being
Greatfull thoughts of warm hugs
Never complainable when it became snug
Pleasurable fondness of your touch
Hardly ever complaining much
Delight in the warmth of your heart
Which you seemed to have down to an art
The strenght of hope that lingers within
Pours out like water as always has been
The incrediable compassion of your soul
Forever bond with mine in whole
Your spirit soars high with my own
With the love that we have shown
Forever do I hope you will see
How much your really mean to me

As I lay here awake
I wonder of my mistakes
of the memories of the years
of many hopes and many fears
one thought remains in my mind
that you are here forever mine.
